Anglo Saxon Sword

This sword is a collaboration with Matthew Berry of Hopkins Forge. I forged the blade and sent it to him for finishing.

The blade is 31.25" long, and the sword is 37"overall. It weighs 2lbs 3ozs. The handle is bronze and horn with silver inlay and a petrified walrus tusk spacer. The 'gems' are jewelers resin. The blade has a 3 bar transitioning to 2 bar core, with two offset checkerboards and twists. The edge bar is 800 layers.
