Collaboration with Dave DelaGardelle

Dave is one of the first artists whose work I came to admire when I began bladesmithing. After meeting him and some other bladesmiths a few summers ago we began some projects together and I forged these two blades for him. He finished them out in complimentary styles, with beautiful carvings in the sheaths and handles.

The first is a wolf's tooth seax made in a traditional style. This sort of construction is rare in the historical record but is very attractive.

The second is a gorgeous knife with different twist patterns on each side. The copper fittings are very thin just like the originals.
