English Knife
This tiny knife is based on Medieval English knives from the 14th Century. It is inspired by several knives I saw Peter Johnsson make in New Hampshire several months ago, and with his immense guidance I went about creating an ode to these beautiful knives. It is made of wrought iron and 1084 laminate with a handle made from cow horn and African Blackwood with metal fittings made from brass. The tang is peened over to secure the blade into the handle. By simply filing away the tangs 'button' on top of the brass peen block the knife can be disassembled. The sheath is in two layers tooled with simple geometric designs.
