Matt's Hearth Seax

This seax was made for my good friend Matt Berry in payment for some incredible bronze work he did for me.

It is made of three bars with a twisted bar in the middle, iron on the spine, and a refined steel edge for the edge. This is a favorite mix of mine, as the three bars each exhibit different patterns and compliment the simplicity of the geometry. I'm partiularly fond of the smoothness of line and proportion on this blade, and the organic nature of the patterning.
