Solstice Seax

This seax is made of ~200 layers of 1075 and 15n20 forge welded onto a piece of wrought iron from a bridge in Maine. The blade was forged out and hardened in water on the solstice. The blade was then finish ground and prepared for a handle. The handle is made or moose antler and maple, with carvings filled in with beeswax and charcoal. The grip is covered in silver wire in a similar fashion as some artifacts.
