Type XV Virtu Silverforge Sword

This sword is based on the Fastolf sword, a beautifully proportioned type XV resting at Norwich Castle in England. The details are fairly close, except for the midrib in the blade and the grip, which I chose to change for the sake of comfort on the end of the user. The guard and pommel are wrought iron and the blade is antique shear steel quenched in water. The scabbard is made of lindenwood slats covered in linen and then leather, tooled with the clients coat of arms as well as some 14th century motifs. It is a light but stout sword, with a short handle making it very responsive for one handed use.
